The Energy HR Groups are comprised by the HR Metrics Group and the Talent Acquisition Group. The HR Metrics Group was originally formed in May, 2003 through the collaborative efforts of Entergy, Aquila, Dominion Resources, JEA, Southern Company, Tennessee Valley Authority and Westar Energy. The Electric Utility – Talent Acquisition Group (EU-TAG) added their benchmarks and data points in 2010.

Member-run groups with Ownership
Both groups have a member led Steering Committee comprised of active group members. Our metrics are collected annually and participating companies are provided with an annual report, an individualized scorecard and an ad-hoc query tool. As a member all content is always timely and relevant to your current needs and interests. All of the HR metrics and data are solely owned by the participating companies. The metrics, raw data (for additional internal analysis), scorecards, surveys/benchmarking, and contact information are accessible at any time via a secure members only log-in website.
Networking with Utility Members
You will benefit immensely from the contacts, mentoring program (for new participants) and conference interface with other members. Our participants have reported that the networking opportunities afforded by the group are extremely valuable. Networking includes our annual conference, and regularly scheduled call-in opportunities.
All members will be provided a contact list of participating companies.
Vemo provides project management oversight to both groups. This includes collection and analysis of annual survey data, conference planning, ongoing support and Steering Committee oversight.
